In addressing the public perception of Anthropogenic Global Warming, this nine-part article considers evidence from the Bible and from simple scientific principles to prove that catastrophic man-made global warming is neither catastrophic, man-made or even global and that the God of creation is in full control of the climate today, just as He was at the beginning of time.

Elbert County in the United States is the home of the huge Georgia Guidestones, tall stones set up in 1979 under the pseudonym of R.C. Christian. Laid out like Stonehenge, they feature the 10 commandments of the New World Order, etched out in 8 different languages.
The first commandment is “To maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature”. The second declares “Guide reproduction wisely - improving fitness and diversity”. The final commandment reads “Be not a cancer on the earth - Leave room for nature - Leave room for nature”.
The current population of the earth is almost 7 billion, yet the stones command that we maintain humanity under half a billion people. These may seem like very obscure views, and I know they are, but a frightening number of people believe these commandments to be the principles by which all men should abide. John Lennon’s widow, Yoko Ono, has said many times that the Georgia Guidestones set the standard of how we ought to live, encouraging people to travel to Georgia to see them.
In a 1994 UNESCO publication, Jacques Cousteau, a famous environmentalist said these words:
“It’s terrible to have to say this, but world population must be stabilised and to do that we must eliminate 350,000 people per day.”
UNESCO is the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation.
Bill Clinton, former President of the United States, is recorded as saying that we need to reduce the population of the earth to 1 billion, and Tony Blair is believed to have said something similar. That is one seventh of what it is now!
The Freemasons believe that the ideal population in which man can live in complete harmony with the earth is no more than 2 billion. People actually believe this, and the devil is seeking, so very subtly, to turn men and women against the command of God to be fruitful, to multiply and to replenish the earth.
Population control already exists in China and in other countries. Abortion kills around 50 million unborn children each year, and I believe the devil is also using Global Warming to bring around an attitude which is in complete contradiction to God’s very first commandment. He has already convinced men that CO2 is destroying the earth. People already value the earth more than human life. The next step, which at times doesn’t seem so far away, is when men realise that the only way to decrease atmospheric CO2 is to decrease population. That is the desire of the devil, and as believers we should pray that God intervenes in mercy before then.
It appears that the devil is using Global Warming for another reason too. He is using this global bandwagon to detract from the glory of the holy God of heaven. Not only is the current wave of opinion drawing men to focus upon the creation, rather than the Creator, but in the last days, the end times, Global Warming will have an interesting role, as we can see here in Revelation 16:8.
There are some preachers of the opinion that the fire in this verse is evidence of Global Warming described in Scripture, but the fire described in the book of Revelation is not Global Warming. Many things must come to pass before this event. In all likelihood the world will have cooled down well before the events of Revelation 16 take place. In fact, several scientists genuinely believe that we are heading for another cool period around 2025 based on projected solar activity. Revelation chapter 16 is to be taken literally, not as a metaphorical description of the future of the climate. We read of a literal angel, pouring literal fire and scorching literal men in a future day. This becomes relevant in the climate change argument when we consider that, despite the suffering, the men of verse 8 still repented not to give God the glory. How could men, being scorched with fire from heaven, fail to acknowledge God, the Creator, as the One who holds their breath in His hand?
It begins to make sense when you consider that the greatest deceiver of all has been preparing every excuse of man since time began. Only an excuse of global proportions could obscure the glory of God in Revelation 16. Could it be that when this time comes, men and women will blame themselves and each other rather than attribute the wonders to a holy God? If only we had listened, if only I had bought a smaller car, if only you had been more efficient with your fuel. The devil is preparing the excuse that ungodly men will need in the last days.
However, there will come a day, even beyond that day in Revelation 16 when men will stand before God, when the devil will be locked away for ever and there will be no excuse. All men and women that ever lived will bow the knee before God the Creator and sustainer of all things.
